A logic analyzer records digital HIGH and LOW signals over time and is especially useful for debugging communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI. Unlike an oscilloscope, it focuses on digital states and can often decode the transmitted data. In the video, connect the analyzer to a communication line, capture a short signal, and show how the software displays both the waveform and the decoded values.
